At Alive! We Value…
Commitment to Christ
-The Word of God bleeds red with the Blood of Christ. Jesus is God revealed to us in the flesh. He won for us salvation on Calvary’s Cross and because of His sacrifice we are again made right with God. Therefore we keep Christ at the center of our worship, our teaching and our lives. (Eph. 1:22-23).-
Home
-Home is a place where love is shared. We are a home, a refuge, a place where people can find a family that is genuine, warm, loving and caring. Just like a solid family helps each other in time of need, our family, our church home does the same (Acts 2:46-47).-
Reaching out
-Before Christ visibly left this earth He made one thing perfectly clear; we are to share His love and His message of grace with the world. We look for, and create opportunities to reach out with the love of Christ to the community and the world (Luke 19:10).-
Integrity
-Jesus Christ always speaks the truth in love. We also are committed to speaking openly and honestly to one another, always retaining the spirit of forgiveness and compassion (2 Cor. 6:7…).-
Sharing of our time, talent & treasure
-Life is a gift from God. God trusts us to manage all of the blessings He gives us in this life. In response to His great sacrifice we generously give back to Him a portion of the time, gifts and resources He has entrusted to our care, which are all rightly His in the first place! (Jer. 29:12; 2 Cor. 5:14-15).-
Time with God
-We are committed to spending time with the Lord in prayer. Our lives are committed to a deeper more compassionate relationship with the Master, and we strive to know Him through prayer, personal & family devotions and bible study, worship and Christian education for all ages (Matt. 7:7-8; 2 Thess. 1:3; 2 Tim. 3:15-16).-
